What We Do

foundd.ai is building the infrastructure for continuous due diligence in venture capital. We believe that investment decisions should be based on comprehensive, real-time data about how startups actually operate — not just their pitch decks and financial projections.

Our Organizational Strength Index (OSI) provides a standardized, comparable score that reflects a startup's true operational maturity across organizational structure, technical foundation, and execution capability.

Why We're Building This

We started foundd.ai after years of experience on both sides of the venture table. We've seen brilliant ideas fail because of organizational debt, and we've watched investors struggle to get real visibility into their portfolio companies beyond quarterly board meetings.

Traditional due diligence is a one-time snapshot. But companies are dynamic, and their internal performance changes constantly. Investors need continuous visibility, and startups need a way to demonstrate their operational strength objectively.

The venture ecosystem has become more efficient in many ways — faster deal flow, standardized terms, better founder education. But one critical gap remains: there's no common language for operational excellence.

Our mission is to make the venture ecosystem more transparent, efficient, and founder-friendly by creating a common language for operational excellence.

Our Values

Transparency First

We believe sunlight is the best disinfectant. Making internal performance visible benefits everyone — investors, founders, and employees.

Founder-Friendly

Operational assessment should help founders improve, not just judge them. We design our framework to be actionable and constructive.

Data-Driven

Gut feel has its place, but operational health can and should be measured objectively. We build on evidence, not opinion.

Continuous Improvement

OSI isn't a one-time grade. It's a living metric that reflects how companies evolve. We believe in progress, not perfection.

Team

We're a small team of operators and builders with experience in venture capital, startup operations, and enterprise software. We've been on both sides of the table — as founders, investors, and advisors.

Co-Founder & CEO LinkedIn

Danny is Co-Founder and CEO at foundd.ai, building a continuous due-diligence platform for early-stage investors. He combines 3+ years as a post-seed startup COO—owning finance and product execution—with 10+ years of enterprise leadership in tech consulting and large-scale implementation, where he built business units, led teams, and drove go-to-market from deal origination through delivery. The idea for foundd.ai emerged from a recurring gap he faced in the COO role: critical operational and technical signals existed, but there was no consistent, quantifiable way to explain and benchmark them for boards and investors. Together with his co-founder and CTO, he is turning these signals into measurable, comparable diligence insights.

Jens is Co-Founder and CTO at foundd.ai. He is a cloud architect and full-stack engineer with deep expertise in cloud-native engineering on AWS, including serverless architectures, and has led cloud-native software engineering teams in the DACH region at Accenture. He brings a builder’s mindset (documented through his engineering writing and open-source work) and is designing the technical foundation that turns operational signals into reliable, scalable, and continuously measurable due-diligence insights.

Backed By

We're in the process of raising our seed round from investors who believe in making the venture ecosystem more transparent and data-driven. If that's you, we'd love to talk.

Invest in foundd.ai

foundd.ai is raising a pre-seed round to validate continuous due diligence as a fund-level operating layer together with a small number of design partner funds.

This round focuses on executing real OSI cycles on live portfolios, refining the OSF/OSI model, and proving repeatable, fund-level value ahead of the Seed round.

We are looking to engage 2–4 design partner investors who actively shape the category and operating model from the start.
